· Leather furniture
Seats, consoles, cabinets, lighting, chests — covered in leather, wholly or in part.
A door panel, a drawer front, even the handles: leather can dress almost any surface, and sits beautifully alongside wood, aluminium and glass. The breadth of colours and finishes guarantees a refined, elegant result — a new look for a piece you already love.
· Leather handrail
Our workshop has developed and mastered the art of covering staircase handrails — straight or winding alike — giving them an exceptional look and feel.
The pieces are joined with a double-stitched leather edging, then topstitched to outline the form. A rembord finish — the folding of the leather's thinned edges — completes each end, defining the final shape of these exceptional pieces.
· Leather paneling
Paneling makes a striking leather wall decoration. Set on a wooden framework, the panels are made to bespoke shapes and sizes — each one padded, then dressed in leather stretched taut over the form.
The result is warm and sculptural: a wall that catches the light, and softens a room with the quiet luxury of hide.
· Our selection of leathers
Atelier Funfrock selects its skins from the finest tanneries in Europe — cowhide, calf, and rarer exotic leathers. Each hide is checked, analysed and measured for thickness, to meet strict standards of regularity, suppleness, solidity and fineness.
We work mainly with full-grain or corrected-grain leathers, to preserve their individuality. For furniture, our full-grain aniline leather keeps its natural texture and inimitable look; our pigmented full-grain adds protection against stains and UV, and stays easy to care for.
