· Stair runners

A staircase that hushes underfoot.

A runner muffles the sound of your footsteps — and dresses the staircase with quiet elegance.

Whatever the staircase — straight, curved or spiral, with or without stringers, solid or suspended steps — our carpet-makers create top-quality custom runners. We use carpets made for stairs, woven Wilton or Axminster, usually 80% wool / 20% polyamide for resistance to wear and stains, or 100% wool for a silkier, more vibrant look — in widths (70, 90, 120 cm) matched to your steps.

Runners are held by removable rods with discreet fastenings — pegs or brackets — finished in polished or matt chrome, polished or brushed brass, or gunmetal. For spiral staircases, we fit by modern heat-sealing or traditional hand-sewing, for a perfect lay.

· Carpets & rugs

Sourced, woven, laid to last.

We source carpets and rugs in wool, cotton, synthetics and natural silk from the world's leading makers — looped, structured, flat-woven or velvet. Our Axminster and Wilton woven carpets come plain or in custom designs, prized for their softness, density and long life; our hand-tufted carpets let you create any pattern, in the colours and materials of your choice.

On high-end projects — luxury hotels, restaurants, high-traffic crossing points — our teams adapt to every technical constraint. We lay broadloom stretched in the traditional way, over carpet pad and smoothed anchoring strips, for a flawless, comfortable finish.

· The compositions

Pure wool, certified.

For unrivalled comfort and a cocooning atmosphere, pure wool carpets are ideal — woven from 100% New Zealand wool, Woolmark-certified, and treated to resist fire.

Pure wool also offers excellent acoustic insulation, and markedly improves the floor's thermal comfort — a quieter, warmer room underfoot.

· The finishes

The border completes the rug.

Its final look depends on the material chosen and the width of the gimp or overlock. We offer two finishes:

Overlock — a delicate braid of thread, usually nylon, wound around the edge of the carpet.
Ganse — a cotton or polyamide band, 2 to 6 cm wide, carefully assembled over the edge.

The choice of colours is extensive; from the shades present in your carpet, we suggest the range that best matches your taste.
